Shawnee Smith (born July 3, 1970, height 5"3" is an American actor and actress in television and film as well as a musician. Smith is most well-known for her roles as Amanda Young in the Saw films, and as Linda in her role on the CBS show Becker. Smith was part of the band metal Fydolla ho, and with which she toured both the United States and United Kingdom. Smith is also a part of Smith & Pyle Smith & Pyle, an American rock group that made up of Missi Pyle. Shawnee Smith, the second daughter of Patricia Smith who is an oncology nurse and Jim Smith former US Air Force pilot and financial planner, was born at Orangeburg South Carolina. The family relocated out of South Carolina to Van Nuys California at the age of one year old. Her parents split at the age of two, and her mother remarried when she was eight. She was a student at Ranchito Avenue Elemntary School in Panorama City Los Angeles. Madison Jr. High was located in North Hollywood. North Hollywood High School and was graduated in 1988. That same year, she was also featured in her own tour, What am I going to Do With My Life Now? The tour included a residency of a month in the venue Just For Laughs.
